FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ) Can I order over the phone? All orders must be in writing either through our web site or by fax, but you may call with questions. The order forms and printed order forms on this site are default. All orders received will be charged the current prices including mailing & handling. Where can I get an order form? You can print an order form from the web site or call and we will fax an order form. I am sending more than 1 order. Will I have to pay mailing & handling on each one? No, orders received together and sent to the same address will incur only one mailing & handling charge. How can I check on my order? By email at starburst@starburstenterprises.net. Tell us the name and Keller Williams market center or company, we will look up your order and email you with the result. How long does it take to receive my order? We send most orders the same or next day from the time we receive it. If we have a question about your order, we will phone or email. The time it takes for a response is up to you. We are located near Houston TX, and most orders are delivered 2-4 days after we send them. I order for several agents in my office. Do I fill out one order form for each? Not necessary. Use the comments section at the bottom of the order form to list the names or any other specifics. If you are faxing your order, you may attach another page with the engraving information. My state (or other higher authority) has rules for my namebadge. Do you know all the rules? We are aware of some of the rules. There is a place at the top of the order form for the market center legal name. Other requirements such as “name must be smaller than the company name” or “office name must be the same size as agent name” should be noted in the comments section. It is your responsibility to communicate these requirements to us on each order. I thought I ordered a silver badge, but I got a gold one. What do I do? If we have made an error and sent the wrong badge, we will correct our error. If you checked the wrong badge, there is no recourse as we did what was ordered and personalized engraving is not erasable. On the new web site, you can click on the badge for a larger picture as well as when you get to the on line order form you can click on the letter/number for a large picture of the badge you are ordering. What do you mean by black engraved and red screened? Black engraved Keller Williams logo means that all the engraving on the badge is black. Red screened means that the letters in Keller Williams are red and all the other engraving is black. Your name will never appear in red. There is a required field for the market center name, location or KW#. I don’t want that on my badge. What is that for? That is so we can file your order where we can find it to answer any questions you have. It isn’t information for the namebadge. What is a magnet? Is it for the refrigerator? It is a way to attach your bade to your clothing without putting pin holes in your clothes. The back of the badge has small steel bar attached to it. The magnet is a separate piece that goes behind your lapel or shirt. The namebadge holds through the material. No holes from pins. The magnet we now use is triple hold and encased so that the metal is not against your skin. Do you offer bulk discounts? Offices ordering 25 or more of the same badge but different names, call for discount information. How do we pay for our order? On line or by fax, you will enter your credit card number, expiration date and the address where you receive your credit card bill. (Our system used address verification.) We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. If you want to pay by check, please send your order form with your check to the address on the form. How do I know if you received my order? When you order on line, we reply by email “Thank you for your order”. When you order by fax, we can email you upon request. You must write your request on your fax form and include your email address. What happens if you spell my name wrong? If we make a spelling error from a typed or on line form, of course we will redo your order at no charge. If you have hand written your order and faxed it in, we will engrave what we see so please be sure that you have written clearly. When we engrave what we see and it is wrong, please expect to pay for your badge again. Do you sell or disseminate my email or other information? Never! The only reason we ask for your information is to contact you about your order. Please use the phone number that we are most likely to reach you. What if my team has a special logo that I want on my badge, or if the designation logo I want isn’t on the form? We have a few designation logos that are not on the form for lack of space. Call about your particular logo. If there is a custom logo associated with your badge, there will be a $35 set up charge and we will need the logo emailed to us in jpg or pdf with high resolution. Call if you need any more details. Will I get to see a proof of my namebadge? Only namebadges with custom logos may have a rendering sent. Namebadges ordered on the regular form will not receive a proof as the machines we use to engrave them are not capable of doing proofs. Your badges will look like the examples on our web site. Of course we will correct any errors we make. What if I have a problem with my badge? Please notify us within 30 days of order date. Why can’t I have REALTOR® in italics or upper and lower case? The National Association of Realtors has directed us to use all caps and upright with the ® behind the word. My office gave me an order form with different prices and options. Which order form should I use? Please use the on line order form or an order form dated (Rev. 8/07 lower left corner). All badges will be charged by THIS form and mailing & handling charges will apply to all orders. | |
